The driver’s licenses can be amended according to the proposal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The “automatic” stamp may appear in rights, and the rights to mopeds will also appear. And foreigners who want to work in Russia drivers will have to receive Russian driver’s license. To pass the exam for a driver’s license, now it will be necessary to undergo training in a driving school, and absentee training is not taken into account.
Currently in Russia there are rights of nine categories. It is planned to divide these categories into subcategories, the so -called specializations. For example, for drivers of category “B”, the subcategory “automatic” will now be introduced. That is, they pass the exam in such a car with an automatic transmission, and have the right to drive only such cars. If you need to control a car with a manual gearbox, then the country’s driving schools have a demand to take an exam again.
Such changes can simplify the preparation of some drivers. If he wants to pass the exam only for a certain subcategory, then this will take much less time and money from him. But it is worth noting that persons who surrender rights to the full category receive rights who completely cover all subcategories.
A new category “M” will appear for moped drivers. It will be possible to get the rights to a moped or motorcycle from the age of 16, but persons who have reached the 21st year can take exams for driving buses.
