In 2008, when the financial crisis crippled the country, Turlov decided to take a risk and apply his knowledge and experience in practice by opening his own company with the resonant name “Freedom Finance”. The idea of serving former clients, which suffered a huge fiasco, was put into the creation of the enterprise. The young businessman had to start from scratch. In 2021, the 34-year-old businessman entered the prestigious Forbes list. His fortune, estimated at $ 2 billion, brought him 1517th place in the world, and in Kazakhstan, where he moved to permanent residence, Timur Turlov entered the top ten, taking 7th place.
